May Update

We have been receiving a number of calls with respect to open times and produce available so I thought I would post an update at this time.

We expect to have peaches and, a very few, nectarines available for picking around the 2nd week of July (2023).

If you want to be kept up to date on our opening and closing and produce availablity please be sure to subscribe to our email list at https://www.pick-a-peach.com/lists.

As you may be aware, the Middle Tennessee peach harvest was significantly impacted by the late frost / freeze in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of March. Indications are that as much as 60% of the crop was lost. In a strange twist of fate, it appears we fared better than Georgia !

Consequently, we are going to be forced to sell our peaches, and what nectarines we have, at a higher price than we would have liked, around $2.50 per lb. Additionally, we may limit the number of lbs each person can buy but we are going to try and avoid doing this. We have not fixed this value yet as we are still waiting to see what the total harvest is going to look like but we will definitely let everyone know before we open.

We also expect to have some Gem squash available for purchase at that time. In the meantime you can purchase Gem squash seeds and grow your own.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

God bless.
