June 23 Update

Time marches on and harvest time is fast approaching. I thought I would take a couple of photos and post them here for you to see.

The two nectarine photos look to me like they will be ready in about 2 weeks, or the first week of July. There are a number of others that likely won’t be ripe until the second week but we will keep an eye out for that.

I also show a picture of one of the Contender peach trees. One can see that the peaches are a little behind the nectarines. The China Pearl are a little behind the Contenders so we are not expecting to have ripe peaches before the second week of July.

It seems to me this year has been cooler and wetter than last even if we have not had as much severe weather.
